Title Ideas. | February 1, 2010

For the rough cut we have had to make a rough title idea. This is because the titles we require to create for our final cut the system we are using currently does not allow us to do it, but this should change in the next few days. The ideas are all on the page ‘Adobe After Effects’. These are all different ideas and titles we have created.

We have chosen for our rough cut the Energy Wipe (but we will change the colours to a more suttle neutral colour) as this may represent a train going across the screen linking the opening to the titles. This then keeps the continuity in the opening.

  1. Rough cut of Coursework late. Marks will be deducted and/or parental contact will be made if it is not submitted ASAP.

  2. Just a quick FYI. There is an editing workshop with a professional editor on Monday, February 22, 2010. It will be in H4 and you will miss lessons 1-4.

If you would like feedback from a professional editor, the person that who will be doing the workshop, it is IMPERATIVE that you have a rough cut done, eg exported file so he can critique it.

Last year, when this editor came in, he was able to help the two students earn 60/60 and 58/60 on their coursework.

    This is very valuable.

Make sure the rest of the media class know.

  3. Matt:
Not sure where you’ve been. But…Make sure you e-mail me your PowerPoint evaluation by April 19, 2010. Also, your blog will be moderated on that day. Thus, see my AS post on blog writing tips and PowerPoint tips. Follow the tips. If you are in a group or have a partner, and that person did not do an activity, make sure you do it yourself so you do not loose marks (Part of my moderation is awarding marks to students that only do the work).

    Go Media!
